Aluminium Louvres & Outdoor Shutters on the Gold Coast

Q: Will aluminium shutters corrode in Gold Coast salt air?

Aluminium is naturally resistant to rust, so it’s well suited to coastal properties. Elipso also uses marine-grade stainless steel fixings for added durability. Regular cleaning helps remove salt deposits and keep your shutters in good condition.

Q: Are your aluminium louvres cyclone rated?

Elipso’s cyclone-rated louvres are designed for exposed locations. Check the relevant product specifications and installation requirements to determine which system is best for your property.

Q: What's the difference between 90 mm and 150 mm blades?

It mainly comes down to the look you prefer and the size of your installation. The narrower 90 mm blades create a more closely spaced appearance, while 150 mm blades offer a wider blade profile for a more open finish. Your retailer can help you choose the right option.

Q: How long does delivery take?

Standard-colour shutters have an advertised delivery timeframe of four weeks. If you're considering a custom colour or configuration, ask your retailer to confirm the expected turnaround when ordering.

Gold Coast properties have plenty to contend with, from salt-laden coastal air to heavy rain and strong winds. The right outdoor shutters can help protect exposed areas without cutting off the breeze or the view.

Elipso aluminium louvres are made in Australia and engineered for demanding conditions. With cyclone-rated designs, marine-grade stainless steel fixings, and blades capable of withstanding a 100 kg load, they're built for more than just good looks.

Our external aluminium louvres suit Gold Coast balconies, patios, windows, and commercial buildings, with a choice of configurations to suit your space.
